What is the Direct Compensation

It 's a new compensation system introduced by decree, in force since 1 February 2007 which provides that every injured party, in order to receive the compensation he’s entitled to, will have to contact directly his own insurance company, rather than the company of those causing the damage.

Why it is a damage for the insured client and a benefit for the Insurance Company
